SugarScout shop sales?

My good friend and neighbor, Sara Garcia, runs a really, really neat business with her good friend Stacey.

It's called SugarScout!

They find all kinds of great goodies and sell them in their online store @ Etsy and through their website.

Well my neighbor friend, Sara, suggested that I make her yarn crafts and even baked goodies to sell through her store!!

How fun would that be?!

Still have to get my move on the license situation and finding a place to bake.

But I can start with the yarn creations for now!

I'll keep updating what I do on my other blog http://deliciouslysuperkawaii.blogspot.com/

I'm SO super excited for both opportunities.
We'll see what comes of them. :)

I am so excited that I've started doing a lot of research on the yarn end of it and Pinning a LOT of things to my Yarn board!

Angry Bird's Birthday!

My son had his 7th Birthday the last day of August this year and so we held a Angry Birds themed party at a local park.

And I made some insanely delicious, heavy, sweet little tasties!

Here is the link to where I found the recipe:

Ohhhh! They were SO good. SO sweet. So tasty!

You need a nice tall glass of cold milk or water to go with it!

Definitely a bit of an indulgence here.

Everyone enjoyed them.

I didn't use as much frosting or cream center as it had suggested (can't imagine how intensely sugary it would have been had I) and that made for a tasty snack on crackers later that week!! :)
(Or just dipping your finger into!) ;)

I ended up buying double stuff Oreo cookies which probably topped off the crazy sweetness of the cupcake, but that didn't seem to bother anyone!

My son asked me when I was going to make them again!
Probably not till next year. It's one of those kind of desserts.
Really, really yummy, but really, really an indulgent one time a year
kind of things! :)

Definitely going on my favorites list!

I might be crazy!?

So I'm truly starting to believe that someday I may just open up my own Bakery!

Maybe just wholesale.

Made to order.

But my own Bakery!

This flame was lit by my good friend Jane Lundquist.

She owns a Non-profit Coffee shop in MPLS and I've always wanted to sell some of my baked goods at her store. Only thing is I need to be licensed!

So my first job was to see what that would entail.

I've got some good info on how to go about getting the correct licenses and that finding a place to bake all of these goodies will be the next thing.

But for now, I thought I'd start by testing out some recipes and blogging/journalling about them!

If anything, just a way for me to look back and see what works, what could work and what absolutely works!

One step at a time!

But it is an exciting time. :)

Now. What to bake first!?!?! ;)
